Separated from Nepal and Bhutan by snow-capped peaks, Darjeeling lies in the northeast foothills of the Himalayas. Treasures of Sikkim

Sikkim will give you a true glimpse into Tibetan culture and lifestyle. Sikkim lies at a lower altitude than Ladakh in the west, which means that it is greener and easier to reach, and it is full of undiscovered treasures for adventurous travellers. These spectacular foothills have become home to many exiled Tibetan monks who kneel in richly decorated monasteries, chanting gentle mantras and spinning colourful prayer wheels. You’ll visit the tranquil towns of Gangtok and Kalimpong, as yet untouched by mass tourism and bursting with Tibetan charm.

Tibetan temple trek

Duration: 5 days, 4 nights

Route: Pelling - Yuksom - Tashiding - Ravangla

This module is for active travellers eager to hike through the mountain Shangri-la of Sikkim. The hikes are fairly easygoing and last only a few hours at a time, so anybody with a reasonable level of fitness can take part. You’ll walk through emerald forests and past meandering streams, with tea plantations spread out before you and the highest mountains in the world as your backdrop. After each fantastic day, you can lounge in the grass, staring at the snowy peaks glistening in the mountain sunshine.
