These India itineraries are individual holidays which we've created by combining several of our short travel modules. Each itinerary offers a truly unique and rewarding India adventure. You'll find that these trips are a mixture of individual and small group travel, providing a balance between personal and social experience. 

We have India itineraries that concentrate purely on Northern India, while others combine both north and south. We also offer one itinerary combining India with Nepal. The speed of travel varies between the India itineraries - some are fast-paced and action-packed while others are a little more laid back. This means that we have something to suit every kind of traveller. You'll travel mostly by private car and internal flights, but we also give you the opportunity take a few train journeys, which are absolutely unforgettable experiences. Wherever possible, we have chosen small-scale accommodation with a truly Indian flavour.

This India itinerary will help you get the very best out of a 12-day trip to India. It will whisk you around several of the highlights of North India, leaving you stunned by the beauty and cutlure of the region. After one night in Delhi, you'll be transferred to beautiful Jaipur with its pink inner city and staggering forts perched on the surrounding hills. The India itinerary will then take you to the magical, mystical temples of Galta, the green wetlands and stunning wildlife of Bharatpur, and the deserted ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri. You could visit the region several times and yet still feel as if you have only scratched the surface. During this India itinerary, you'll see the classic highlights of North India in just under three weeks - and you'll see them in style, staying in forts, palaces, elaborate havelis and old colonial mansions. After travelling through remarkable Rajasthan, full of camels, saris, forts and temples, you'll arrive at the breathtaking Taj Mahal. From here, you'll veer east towards Varanasi, the most sacred of all Indian cities, and you'll stay in a lovely hotel right on the banks of the Ganges.

What is included in our suggested itineraries ?

- All transport including domestic flights as described in the itineraries.
- Excursions and organised visits with an English-speaking guide as indicated (see the descriptions).
- When necessary, assistance from our local agent, available 24 hours a day.

What is not included in our suggested itineraries?
- The international flights to India are excluded. See flight tickets
- Travel insurance. See travel insurance for more information.
- A few of the smaller transfers are excluded, simply because some short journeys are quicker, easier and cheaper to organise on the spot.
- Visa or Passport costs.
- Optional extras such as drinks, laundry, departure taxes or items of a personal nature.
